Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise

Guests will meet in the lobby for their motorcoach transfer from downtown hotel to Seward, Alaska.  Travelling south to Seward, picturesque mountain views surround, with the Chugach Range on one side of the highway, a glimpse of the Alaska Range across the inlet, and the Kenai Range in front. The views are nothing short of spectacular on the way to Seward. Keep an eye out for moose and eagles, and possibly bears or Dall sheep. As the coach comes across the flats towards Portage, see abandoned buildings and tree stumps still standing from the 1964 earthquake, which dropped the entire area over two feet. The 2.5-hour drive to Seward (from Anchorage) will travel over the Kenai Mountain Range and through the majestic mountaintop vistas of Turnagain Pass. This scenic drive alone is worth the trip but there’s much more to this day.  Upon arrival in Seward, board a smooth sailing catamaran tour into Kenai Fjords National Park. This tour provides the greatest opportunity for wildlife and glacier viewing - abundant wildlife, excellent whale watching opportunities, and the massive Aialik or Holgate Glaciers. Be on the watch for Humpback whales, Steller sea lions, Dall's porpoise, harbor porpoise, Orca (killer whales), harbor seals, bald eagles, puffins and many other types of marine birds. Every tour is fully narrated by an experienced captain and a National Park Ranger. Lunch is included during the cruise. Complimentary beverages include coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Additional snacks and beverages are available for purchase.
